From Farmers’ Hands to Global Markets: Building Sustainable Growth Together
Great fruit quality starts in the orchard—not just on harvest day or at the packing house.
At Siam Fresh, quality starts with the right growing areas, close collaboration with farmers, and a clear understanding of what each market needs.
For us, sustainability means growing together—with farmers, partners, customers, and the markets we serve.
Our Farmer Network: Where Quality Begins
More than 2,800 farming households across Thailand are part of the Siam Fresh network.
What matters is not only the size of the network, but how we work together to improve quality from the orchard.
GAP is the foundation, but every export market has its own additional requirements.
We share market requirements with growers early, so quality can be planned from the beginning.
GAP covers good practices throughout production—from cultivation and harvesting to post-harvest handling and record keeping.
Requirements can vary by market, from size and ripeness to appearance, residue limits, food safety, and plant quarantine.
Growers receive practical guidance on farm inputs, record keeping, traceability, quality, food safety, and harvesting.
Better Farming, Greater Market Opportunities
For mangosteen bound for Taiwan, quality and safety requirements are managed from the orchard through to export.
When growers meet the right standards, they gain better market opportunities, while Siam Fresh gains a more reliable supply and customers gain greater confidence in quality.
Sustainability Goes Beyond Export
Developing high-quality fruit at the source alone is not enough. If the market does not grow, or consumers are still unfamiliar with Thai fruit, it becomes difficult for the entire supply chain to grow.
Siam Fresh therefore places equal importance on market development and the growth of its farmer network. In May 2026, during Thailand’s fruit season and a period when mangosteen was widely available, Siam Fresh worked with the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Trade Office in Manila, Section 2 (Taiwan), and local partners to help more Taiwanese consumers discover and access Thai fruit, especially mangosteen, through KOL/KOC collaborations, digital media, and in-store tasting activities.
The goal was not simply to sell fruit, but to help more consumers discover and experience Thai fruit while building long-term demand.
As awareness and demand grow, our partners can grow too—and those opportunities can ultimately flow back to growers in Thailand.
